State of the City Address - Part 1

Part 1 of Rochester Mayor Thomas Richard's State of the City address on Monday, May 6, 2013, at School of the Arts.


"Self" Williams is one of about 200 people that are part of the Amazing Spider-Man 2 production team. 

Filming downtown for the action packed car-chase scene is expected to last through May 9th. 

Williams is a Rochester native but moved to New York City to follow his dream of filmmaking. He tells WXXI's LeShea Agnew he hopes his journey inspires other young adults in Rochester to fearlessly chase their dreams.

Genesee Brewery Parent Company Sold For $338 Million

North American Breweries, parent company to Rochester's Genesee Brewery, has been sold to Cerveceria Costa Rica, S.A. for $338 million. A 6:30 p.m. press conference is scheduled at the Genesee Brew House to announce the sale.

Cerveceria is a subsidiary of Florida Ice & Farm Company, S.A., and brews the Imperial brand of beer.
