A new survey from the Rochester City School District asks students, parents and staff their concerns and questions about reopening schools.
“The survey was released to help better understand the concerns and/or questions individuals have regarding the reopening of schools this fall,” a statement from the district said.
The feedback is expected to be used along with guidance from Gov. Andrew Cuomo and national, state and local health officials.
"Students, parents, and staff in the Rochester City School District have shown perseverance and resiliency during this global pandemic," said Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small in a statement. “We must keep their safety at the forefront of every decision that is made, and that's why it is so vital to have feedback from varied internal and external stakeholders.”
The survey is available both online and via the district’s support hotline, 585-262-8700, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through July 15.
