Monroe County Jail will allow in-person visitation starting Monday. That stopped earlier this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Visits will be limited to one half-hour visit per week, per inmate, and no contact will be allowed.
Social distancing and masks will be required, but visitors can’t bring or wear their own masks; the county will provide one for them. If someone breaks these rules, they will be removed from the building.
All visitors will have their temperatures checked during the screening process. If a person has a temperature over 100 or is showing any flu-like symptoms, they won’t be allowed to visit.
No walk-up appointments will be allowed. To schedule a visit, call 585-753-4000 from 8:45 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday or go to
