Connections: Learning about the Seneca White Deer

We're broadcasting from WEOS Finger Lakes Public Radio in Geneva for a conversation about the Seneca White Deer. The rare herd now finds its official, protected home at the Seneca Army Depot, the U.S. Army's former weapons storage facility near Seneca Lake in Romulus. This comes after a public bidding process that determined the future of the site and the deer population. Protecting the world's largest herd of white, white-tailed deer has been a dream decades in the making for Dennis Money. He's the president of Seneca White Deer, Inc.

Money joins us in studio to discuss the history of the deer and the Depot, conservation efforts at the site, and the new White Deer Tours.
