The Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge reopens to vehicular traffic on Tuesday.
The bridge is located at the north end of Irondequoit Bay, and connects Culver Road in Irondequoit to Lake Road in Webster. The seasonal swing bridge is designed to span the outlet for vehicle traffic during the winter months.
The schedule is set in accordance with permits issued by the Coast Guard. Monroe County DOT plans to begin moving the bridge into place at about 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
It takes about a half hour to swing the bridge into place. There is a two-hour period, both leading up to the bridge movement and afterward to get things in place.
