Definitive agreements have been finalized for two area hospitals to join the Rochester Regional Health System. United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia and Clifton Springs Hospital are both expected to join the hospital system by the end of the year.
The agreement was developed by Rochester General officials prior to the recent merger between RGH and Unity Health System.
RGH has worked with both United Memorial and Clifton Springs in various clinical collaborations for a number of years.
The new Rochester Regional Health System will service a 14 county region.
