1:00: 'Connections Summer Sessions:' The triple identity of Canandaigua

This hour, we welcome a human guest and his canine co-panelist. You may know TikTok star Jonathan Graziano for his "Bones or No Bones" videos with his late dog, Noodle. The Rochester native is a best-selling author, and his newest book is about his adopted senior pug, Milton. "Milton Makes a Move" follows Milton's story as he finds his forever home. Graziano and Milton are in town for a series of events. We sit down with both of them to hear their story and to discuss animal rescue. In studio:

  • Jonathan Graziano, No. 1 New York Times best-selling author
  • Milton the pug

Then in our second hour, "Connections Summer Sessions" continues. During this week's special rebroadcasts, we take a trip through the Finger Lakes. Our tour begins in Canandaigua. It’s known for its beautiful lake and outdoor recreation. It also has a rich and complicated history. Some locals say the city has a “triple identity:" lake life, historical legacy, and a growing cultural and business scene. Our guests tell us the local histories and help us explore the hidden gems. Our guests:

  • Denise Chaapel, downtown manager of Historic Downtown Canandaigua
  • Ben Falter, director of education at the Ontario County Historical Society
  • Leif HerrGesell, historian for Town of Canandaigua
