Reports are that Oak Hill Country Club is due to get another major golf championship in several years.
Media reports indicate that the Pittsford venue will play host to The PGA Championship in 2023.
Officials with the PGA and Oak Hill would not confirm those reports when contacted by WXXI News on Wednesday.
Oak Hill hosted the tournament in 1980, 2003 and 2013.
The Democrat&Chronicle reports that final approval from the club to host the event came at a board of governors meeting held at Oak Hill on Tuesday night.
There’s no word yet on specific dates for the 2023 tournament.
