New York state Sen. Jeremy Cooney, chair of the Senate Transportation Committee, discusses a range of priorities for this legislative session.

He joins us in the studio for an update on autonomous vehicles, his bill that would hold the state liable for vehicle damage caused by potholes, his call for an increase in funding for public transit in our area, and more.

Evan Dawson is the host of "Connections with Evan Dawson." He joined WXXI in January 2014 after working at 13WHAM-TV, where he served as morning news anchor. He was hired as a reporter for 13WHAM-TV in 2003 before being promoted to anchor in 2007.
