Scott Pukos guest hosting "Connections with Evan Dawson" on Friday, August 2, 2024

Why do we crave screams in the summer? Horror is a genre that is, by some measures, the hottest in theaters and streaming.

Why do scary movies make such great summer flicks, and, in a world full of real-life stress, why do we still choose to be scared for fun?

Guest host Scott Pukos and his panel explore all things spooky, slashy, and stabby.

In studio:

Megan Mack is the executive producer of "Connections with Evan Dawson" and live/televised engagement programming.
Veronica Volk is a senior producer and editor for WXXI News.
Julie Williams is an associate producer for "Connections with Evan Dawson" and is also the office administrator for radio, news and technology and operations. She started at WXXI in 2019 and has been working on Connections since 2022.
