Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio, who has been in jail since Monday awaiting a hearing related to her DWI conviction, will be there at least until her court appearance on Thursday.
Astacio was denied a bail application on Wednesday morning, this time by Ontario County Judge William Kocher.
Astacio was ordered held without bail Monday after she turned down a deal that would have seen her plead guilty to violating a condition of her sentence in exchange for 45 days in jail, probation and wearing an ankle monitor.
Also, Astacio is still represented by local attorney Ed Fiandach. There were reports on Tuesday Astacio had fired him, but it now appears he is back as her counsel.
