A retired Greece Police officer is running as a Democrat for Town Supervisor.
Jim Leary will challenge Republican incumbent Bill Reilich this fall.
Leary told the D&C he’s been a Republican all his life, but became dissatisfied with the local party, which controls local elected offices in the town.
The Monroe County Democratic Committee also announced that Rumella Cameron will run for the town board, in Greece Ward 2.
