Former President Bill Clinton spoke early Tuesday evening to a packed union hall in Rochester, in support of his wife, the Democratic presidential front-runner, Hillary Clinton.
Hundreds of people lined the streets around the Laborers' Union Local 435 headquarters on Fourth Street.
The former president talked up Hillary Clinton's plans for economic development.
"I believe we have the chance to get this country going like a rocket so we're all rising together again for the first time since the 1990s, we got a chance to do that. "
Clinton implored the crowd to get a big turnout on New York’s presidential primary day, which is April 19th. He says that moment is crucial to his wife doing well in a number of other primaries in Atlantic Coast states.

Mayor Lovely Warren, who said she's endorsing Hillary Clinton for President, was joined by Congresswoman Louise Slaughter in talking up the Clinton campaign, as they spoke just before the former President took the stage.
Media reports say that Hillary Clinton will be in the Rochester area for a campaign appearance on Friday, but her campaign tells WXXI News details of her Upstate NY visits have not been confirmed yet. She is due to be in Buffalo on Friday.
On Saturday, Republican presidential candidate John Kasich will make a stop in the Town of Greece at the Community & Senior Center.
