Three Rochester Gang Leaders Indicted on Gun and Drug Charges

The top ring leaders of local gang have been arrested and take off Rochester streets for drug trafficking and the possession of guns.

Officials say Jacob Rivera, 22, Kevin Feliciano, 19 and Marius Johnson, 27 are being charged with distributing 280 grams of crack cocaine and marijuana, and the use and possession of guns near the intersection of Lexington and Dewey Avenues.

The men are part of an organization called "M.D.B." or "The Broezel Boys." Officers say they are violent and intimidating.

U.S. Attorney William Hochul announced on Friday says the support of the community is still needed in this investigation...

"One of the things that made the arrest of the MBD case and resulted in the arrest and indictment of the players was the cooperation of the citizens of Rochester," Hochul says. "As we get into the summer months, as more and more people are out on the streets. You are our eyes and ears."

The three men could face 10 years to life in federal prison, if convicted of drug conspiracy.

The gang bust involved a number of law enforcement agencies including the Rochester Police Department.
