First hour: An update on the Rochester housing market

Second hour: Discussing COVID-19 vaccines in childrenThe Rochester housing market is still booming, but when will it slow down? Local realtors say they are seeing a slight decrease in the number of offers made on properties and in the number of showings, but low inventory and high demand is still an issue. We talk with them about the state of the market, about possible issues related to gentrification, and more. Our guests:

  • Jim Yockel, CEO of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors
  • Lanie Bittner, president of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, and associate broker at RE/MAX Plus
  • Glynis Valenti, executive director of the South Wedge Planning Committee
  • Kyle Crandall, president of the Beechwood Neighborhood Coalition

Then in our second hour, the CDC cleared the Pfizer vaccine for kids age 12 and up starting last week. In the first seven days of eligibility, federal authorities report that more than 600,000 kids got their first dose. Vaccine trials for children in different age groups are ongoing. This hour, our guests discuss the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in kids, and we hear from local children about getting the shot. Our guests:
