There are more downtown hotel changes in Rochester.

The latest change involves the Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside, at least that was its previous name in recent years. It will now be called the Rochester Riverside Hotel.

A Rochester based property development company, MC Management, will now own and operate that Main Street hotel, the largest one downtown with 460 rooms.

MC Management includes local developers Robert Morgan and David Christa, along with some other investors. Morgan and Christa have partnered on a number of projects and hotels, including the Hyatt, which is right across the street from the Riverside Hotel, and which just underwent major renovations.

Regional Director of Operations for MC Management, JC Rettberg, says with the same owners for the two downtown hotels, there will be some exciting synergies the two operations can share.

There are some renovations planned for the future at the Riverside Hotel.  MC Management also operates the Strathallan Hotel and the Century Club.
