The Monroe County District Attorney’s office says that four people accused of plotting against an Islamic community in the Catskills were indicted by a Monroe County grand jury this week.

The charges against 18 year old Andrew Crysel of East Rochester, 19 year old Vincent Vetromile of Greece, 20 year old Brian Colaneri of Gates and a 16 year old suspect, include six felony counts; five of those counts are indicted as crimes of terrorism.

The charges include conspiracy, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted criminal possession of a weapon.

The suspects were first arrested by Greece Police in January. They allegedly had planned to attack a religious community in Tompkins County. Police said in January that  they recovered 23 guns and 3 homemade explosive devices.

Authorities say they learned of the plot after a tip from a student at Greece Odyssey Academy.
