Spectrum hiring up to 190 for Rochester mobile call center

Spectrum Mobile

Spectrum is hiring to fill a number of jobs at a call center in Rochester.

Spectrum plans to hire up to 190 customer service representatives supporting Spectrum Mobile customers at its newly converted call center in Rochester.

The jobs are part of that call center’s transition from working with video customers to providing specialized support for Spectrum Mobile.

The new positions offer hourly wages starting at $18 an hour,  and officials say that’s part of the parent company, Charter’s commitment to pay a $20 minimum starting wage in 2022.

The company says the new jobs will help provide comprehensive service to Spectrum Mobile customers across its 41-state service area.

Spectrum will hold a drive through hiring event next Thursday, July 8, from 2 to 6pm, at Spectrum’s Mobile Call Center at 71 Mount Hope Avenue in Rochester.
