Monroe County reports 198 new COVID-19 cases; positivity rate is 2%

Monroe County is reporting 198 new cases of COVID-19 in data that was released on Saturday. There were no new deaths.

The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 156 new cases per day.

The seven-day rolling average positivity rate for Monroe County is 2.0%. That rate has been under 2% for about the last month.

The positivity rate for the Finger Lakes Region overall is also at 2%. The seven-day statewide average infection rate is at 3.41% and the daily positivity rate released on Saturday for the state overall is 3.15%.

There are 147 people in the Finger Lakes Region hospitalized, 33 of them are in ICU.

In the numbers on COVID-19 vaccinations released by Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Saturday, 28.7% have had at least one vaccine dose, 15.8% have completed the vaccine series.

In the Finger Lakes region, the percentage of residents who have had one dose of the vaccine is 31.1% and the number of residents who have completed the vaccine series is 16.4%.
