Monroe County releases new numbers on confirmed cases of COVID-19

Monroe County Department of Public Health officials released new numbers on local coronavirus cases on Saturday.

The numbers are:

Confirmed Cases

There are 46 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Monroe County.

New Cases

Of the 46 confirmed cases, 10 confirmed cases were new as of Saturday morning since the update provided on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
The new individuals include:

  • 1 Female in her 20s
  • 1 Male in his 30s
  • 1 Female in her 30s
  • 1 Male in his 40s
  • 1 Female in her 40s
  • 1 Female in her 50s
  • 2 Females in their 60s
  • 1 Male in his 70s
  • 1 Female in her 70s

Hospitalized patients

Of the 46 confirmed cases, 10 people are hospitalized.

Mandatory Quarantine

The Health Department has placed 218 people into mandatory quarantine and isolation.

Officials remind individuals who are under quarantine to proceed as if they were exposed to COVID-19, but they should not be tested if they don’t have symptoms.
