Suspects In Alleged Abduction Of 2 U of R Students Now Under Indictment

Six people accused of the abduction of two University of Rochester students a week ago appeared in city court on Friday where they learned there were indictments against them.

The six are accused in the  kidnapping of Ani Okeke Ewo and Nicholas Kollias, who were rescued by an RPD SWAT team.

Initially, charged with 1st degree kidnapping were 26 year old Lydell Strickland, 23 year old Dennis Perez and 20 year old Leah Gigliotti, all of Rochester and 19 year old Samantha Hughes of Pittsford. 

The initial 2nd degree kidnap charges were brought against InaliaRolldan and Ruth Lora, two 19 year olds from Rochester.

The specific charges from the grand jury have not been revealed yet.
