(New street restrictions added 2/22 at 10:20 a.m.)
To aid in snow removal from some Rochester streets, the city has instituted street parking restrictions on some city streets.
Snow clearing operations related to the City's Emergency Parking restriction will continue Monday on additional streets. Parking is prohibited on the following streets beginning at noon on Monday, February 23 until noon on Tuesday, February 24:
* Akron Street (Atlantic Avenue to E. Main Street)
* Werner Park
* Berwick Road (Monticello Drive to Dead End)
* Elmcroft Road (Monticello Drive to Dead End)
* Elm Drive (Monticello Drive to Dead End)
* Winstead Road (Monticello Drive to Dead End)
* Edmonton Road (Monticello Drive to Dead End)
Vehicles parked on these streets during this time period may be towed. The City will attempt to relocate towed vehicles to nearby streets. However, if relocation is not possible, vehicles will be towed to the City's Auto Impound Lot on Colfax Street and towing and storage fees will be imposed.
The areas chosen for snow removal are prioritized based on the degree of difficulty they present to snow removal operations.
Free overnight parking for affected vehicles will be available from 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 23 to 8 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Washington Square, East End and Mortimer Street Garages. Residents may also seek parking on surrounding streets outside of the Parking Emergency Area.
Residents of the impacted streets will be notified via telephone using "reverse 9-1-1 technology."
Parking is prohibited on the following streets beginning at noon on Sunday, February 22 until noon on Monday, February 23:

* Rising Place
* Wilcox Street
* Sumner Park
* Pearl Street (S. Goodman Street to Boardman Street)
* Hazelwood Terrace (Culver Road to Merchants Road)
* Queens Street
* Conklin Avenue
* Rutgers Street (Monroe Avenue to Harvard Street)
* Woodlawn Street
Beginning at noon on Friday, February 20, there will be no parking allowed on the following streets until noon on Saturday, February 21:
* Judson Street
* Kirkland Road
* Moran Street
* Ardmore Street
* Edinburgh Street
* Glasgow Street
* Frederick Douglass Street
* Adams Street (between Jefferson Avenue and Van Auker Street)
* Silver Street
* Love Street
* Eddy Street
* Essex Street
* Kensington Street
* Taylor Street
* Hertel Street
* Dengler Street
* University Avenue (between Alexander St. and Goodman St.)
* Dr. Samuel McCree Way (between Jefferson and Genesee)
Residents affected by Friday evening's parking emergency may park in the parking lot across from Gleason Works starting at 6 p.m. The entrance to the parking lot is between 997 and 1011 University Avenue, and is the lot south of the firehouse.
Parking is prohibited on the following streets beginning at noon on Saturday, February 21, until noon on Sunday, February 22:
* Seager Street
* Diem Street
* Jacques Street
* Beaufort Street
* Caroline Street (S. Clinton Avenue to Pappert Place)
* Benton Street (S. Clinton Avenue to Field Street)
* Somerton Street
* Morningside Park
* Brunswick Street
* Berkshire Street
* Regent Street
* Vassar Street (Park Avenue to Milburn Street)
* Berkeley Street (Park Avenue to Milburn Street)
