Rochester's Mayor To Deliver 'State of the City' Address

Rochester Mayor Tom Richards delivers the annual State of the City address on Monday night. The annual speech will be held at the School of the Arts, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Richards says the address will be his opportunity to outline some of the accomplishments over the last year as well as address ongoing challenges, such as how the administration will deal with a multi-million dollar budget gap.  The mayor's upcoming budget proposal is expected soon.

Richards is up for re-election this year, and he's expected to face a Democratic primary against City Council President Lovely Warren.

You can listen to the State of the City address starting at 7:00 p.m. Monday on AM 1370 WXXI. It will also be broadcast on City 12 on cable TV.
