Nazareth College says that it has received notification of a positive COVID-19 test for a member of the Nazareth community who has been on campus.
In a statement released Tuesday, officials say that the individual who tested positive is now in isolation.
Nazareth says it is following protocols which include extensive cleaning and contact tracing for any individual who has had close contact and a risk of exposure.
Officials say that Nazareth is vigilant in adhering to all of its protocols that maintain the health and safety of the entire community.
This is the third COVID-19 positive case Nazareth has reported so far. Two other cases were reported earlier this month. They are listed on the college’s website which notes that no identifying information will be shared about someone who tests positive for COVID-19 due to federal health privacy regulations.
