When you think "David Bowie," you probably immediately think "ballet." No? Well, the Rochester City Ballet is working to bring new people to their performances, and they're not afraid to take risks. David Bowie, U2, and eventually, Pink Floyd and the Beatles.
The company's upcoming "Ballet on the Edge" performances will include one of the first new works set to Bowie's music since his death in January. We talk about bringing new audiences to artistic institutions like the ballet, and how Bowie's work, in particular, will be represented. Our guests:
