Albert Paley Sculpture To Be Displayed At The College At Brockport

albertpaley.com

One of Albert Paley's metal sculptures is being installed at The College at Brockport.  It's called " Conclave " and it measures 22 feet by 6 feet by 30 feet, and it was created by Paley in 1984.

It was built with formed and fabricated steel and has long been on display outside of the Harro East Theater and Ballroom in Rochester.

Officials say a donation from Brockport Emeritus Professor of Political Science Bill Andrews funded Paley's recent restoration of the sculpture so that it can now be displayed at the college.

The installation takes place Thursday morning.

Before retiring in March 2025, Randy Gorbman was WXXI's director of news and public affairs and managed the day-to-day operations of WXXI News on radio, television, and online.
