In 1979, the body of a girl was found in a cornfield in Caledonia. For 35 years, her identity, and her killer, remained a mystery.
Half the mystery was solved in January 2015, when the girl was identified as Tammy Jo Alexander. The other half remains unsolved, but a new podcast hopes to find some answers.
The Finding Tammy Jo podcast, hosted by WXXI's Veronica Volk and the Democrat and Chronicle's Gary Craig, digs into the story of Tammy Jo Alexander's murder, gives insight into her background, and brings light to the unsolved murder.
