ABX Innovative Packaging solutions is expanding its operations in Macedon, Wayne County, and plans to create up to 38 new jobs,and retain another 378 jobs.
ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions will update equipment and make infrastructure improvements to accommodate the expansion of its green solution flexible packaging manufacturing operation.
The North Carolina-based company says that the $12 million project will include the addition of six new bag lines and will relocate a portion of its operations to another building on the company’s Main Street manufacturing campus. The renovation work is expected to launch this spring and be completed by the summer of 2022.
Empire State Development is providing up to $1.35 million through the Excelsior Tax Credit program and the New York Power Authority is planning to provide low-cost power from the ReCharge NY program.
RG&E, Wayne County Industrial Development Agency and Greater Rochester Enterprise are also helping with the project.
