The Monroe County Department of Public Health is reporting another 245 cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
There were no new deaths.
Many of the recent new cases have been people in their teens and 20s.
Commissioner of Public Health Dr. Michael Mendoza noted that this week, saying that although many people are benefiting from vaccination, there is not yet herd immunity in the area.
The latest 7-day rolling average positivity rate for Monroe County is 2.3%.
The 7-day rolling average of new cases is 183 new cases per day.
149 people in the Finger Lakes Region are hospitalized, 30 of them are in ICU.
