Rochester Police say that two women died in a crash on Lake Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at about 2:20pm in the 2200 block of Lake Ave.
Police say a pickup truck was traveling north on Lake, and an SUV was going south. The SUV driver apparently lost control, swerving into the opposite lane and was struck by the pickup.
The SUV was driven by a 42 year old woman. She had a 22 year old female passenger. Both died in the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 34 year old woman was taken to Strong for non-life threatening injuries.
All three are city residents, no names have been released yet.
