Rochester Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting that happened early on Easter morning on the southwest side of the city.
Police have charged 28 year old Stephen Mclaughlin Jr. of Rochester with second degree murder in the death of Dorian Allison. The 28 year old city resident was shot in the torso and pronounced dead at the hospital. The shooting was reported at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers took Mclaughlin into custody at a house on Woodbine Ave. SWAT team officers surrounded the house, and authorities say a number of people came willingly out of the residence.
Police say additional charges may be filed and they say there are no additional suspects being sought at this time.
