A holiday on Lake Ontario ended with a crash into the Summerville Pier in Irondequoit Saturday night.
Monroe County Sheriffs Deputies say four people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries.
Deputies say the 25-foot boat was headed west on Lake Ontario at about 10:30 last night, when it hit the pier. 47-year old Dominic Antonucci was driving. He was cut on the face and his three passengers suffered what were described as minor injuries.
The boat was towed off the pier by the Coast Guard and secured by deputies, who are continuing to investigate the crash. Charges are pending.
Sheriffs’ spokesperson Cpl. John Helfer idenfied the following people on the boat:
- The driver, Dominic Antonucci, 47, of Parma, suffered facial lacerations.
- Kim Antonucci, 44, of Parma, suffered a possible broken arm, facial lacerations.
- Stephanie Cavallaro, 21, of Spencerport, suffered minor injuries
- Denise Godfrey, 42, of Greece, suffered a head laceration
