Rochester General Acquiring Linden Oaks Property

Rochester General Health System has announced one of the most significant expansions in the institution's 165 year history with the purchase of a medical campus on the east side of Monroe County.

Rochester General President and CEO Mark Clement says the health care system is buying the Linden Oaks Medical Campus for $40 million.

The campus is comprised of three medical office buildings and Clement says the medical campus will also house Rochester General's new Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Ambulatory services are treatment or consultation that can be delivered in an outpatient environment. The new center is estimated to be up and running in the fall of 2013 and add hundreds of jobs over the next 4 to 5 years.
