The inauguration ceremony for Rochester's new mayor will be held Saturday.
The actual event begins at Noon at the Auditorium Theatre on East Main Street but doors will open at 11 am. Seating is on a first-come basis.
In additional to a number of guest speakers and musical performances, Warren will deliver an inaugural address. Warren takes over from Tom Richards, who did not actively run for re-election after he lost the September primary. She has had a very emotional week including the passing of her grandfather who she describes as a very important mentor in her life. He suffered a stroke several days ago, and Warren had a private swearing in at his hospital bedside on New Year's Eve. He died on Thursday at the age of 87.
