The Webster School Superintendent is moving on.
The school board has announced that Adele Bovard, who has led the district since 2006 will become Deputy Superintendent for Administration at the Rochester City School District effective August 1st.
Rochester Superintendent Bolgen Vargas says that Bovard has more than 25 years experience as a teacher and administrator.
Bovard says she looks forward to helping the district improve its use of data to help with instruction and to oversee professional development for the staff.
School board president Mike Suffoletto released a statement thanking Bovard for her efforts to improve student achievement in Webster and continue a tradition of academic excellence.
The Webster School Board will meet to appoint an acting superintendent while it plans the process for a permanent replacement.
