The national health club chain LA Fitness is buying two clubs in Rochester and four in Buffalo.
The sale involves two co-ed Rochester Athletic Clubs, one in Henrietta and another at The Mall at Greece Ridge.
The RAC For Women clubs were not affected by this sale and they will continue to be operated under the BAC/RAC umbrella.
LA Fitness says it will honor all of the active memberships that it purchases from the BAC/RAC co-ed clubs including those for personal training.
LA Fitness has more than 500 clubs in the U.S. and Canada, and it has clubs in the Rochester area including Irondequoit, Henrietta and Greece.
