Connections: Summer of Food - Autumn Stoscheck of Eve's Cidery

Our Summer of Food series of conversations continues with a woman who is known as both a dynamo activist in the Finger Lakes, as well as one of the finest cider makers in the region.

Autumn Stoscheck's family has a farm near the border with Pennsylvania. Starting in 2009, Stoscheck began warning her fellow agricultural industry workers about hydrofracking. At first, they didn't know what she was talking about.

We discuss her activism, and her work to elevate cider to the level of wine and beer. Our guest:

Evan Dawson is the host of "Connections with Evan Dawson." He joined WXXI in January 2014 after working at 13WHAM-TV, where he served as morning news anchor. He was hired as a reporter for 13WHAM-TV in 2003 before being promoted to anchor in 2007.
