First hour: Will the Paris climate deal be enough?
Second hour: Previewing the final season of Downton Abbey
Will the UN climate deal, recently struck in Paris, be effective? We'll talk to two people who were in Paris during the negotiations. And we'll reconvene a panel that was offering cautious optimism going into Paris. Did they get what they were looking for? What will it mean for us? Our guests:
- Sandra Steingraber, distinguished scholar in residence, Department of Environmental Studies, Ithaca College
- Robert Howarth, professor of ecology and environmental biology, Cornell University
- Sue Hughes-Smith, Rochester People’s Climate Coalition
In our second hour: Downton Abbey is back, one last time. We'll preview the final season, capped by a live musical performance. And we'll ask the biggest questions left for the show to answer. Our guests:
- Michael Lasser, author, critic, and host of WXXI's Fascinatin' Rhythm
- Danielle Abramson Swartz, WXXI's resident Downton Abbey expert
- Dawn Kellogg, communications manager, Geva Theatre Center
- Tom Proietti, resident scholar in media, St. John Fisher College
- Performance by Cindy Miller and Alan Jones
