We spend the hour with the hosts of two PBS television series.
First, Lidia Bastianich, host of Lidia's Kitchen and the matriarch of one of the most influential restaurant families in the country, joins us in studio to talk about her new book, Lidia's Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine: Everything You Need to Know to be a Great Italian Cook. Bastianich will sign books at the Tops in Henrietta on Wednesday, October 28 from 5-7 p.m. She will also host an event in Buffalo on November 15.
And we welcome Katie DeTar, host of Fringe Benefits, a new travel show on PBS stations across the country about destination gems in the U.S. The program airs on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. on WXXI's Create (DT 21.3, cable 1276). Our guests:
