After some other major changes in the last couple of years, there's a leadership change being announced by the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester.
Executive Director David Semple will be leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities. That's according to a statement released by Board of Directors Chair Grace Tillinghast. She says the board has appointed Ann Salter as Interim Executive Director.
Semple took over after longtime leader Sarah Lentini stepped down in early 2014. He will be leaving the post at the end of this month.
The organization has been facing financial challenges in recent months, moving from its home at North Goodman Street to the Eastman Business Park, and then moving back to the Neighborhood of the Arts to a building on Prince Street.
