Some drivers trying to use the New York State Thruway to travel east from Exit 46 in Henrietta were not allowed to get on this morning. The Thruway is closed in the westbound direction starting at Exit 46 in Henrietta all the way to Exit 61 at the PA state line.
Initially the Thurway Authority told WXXI News that it was the State Police that was not allowing drivers to enter the eastbound Thruway. The Thruway Authority says that there was a misunderstanding and finally allowed drivers to enter the eastbound Thruway in Henrietta according to their official Twitter feed.
