Wayne County deputies say they have captured a missing inmate.
They were looking for 25 year old Shawn Meacham, after they say he escaped from the Wayne County Jail on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say Meacham impersonated a weekend inmate scheduled for release and walked out of the jail facility. They say he was serving time for violating the conditions of his probation for an original charge which was burglary.
Deputies caught Meacham early Monday morning on Anstee Road in the Town of Galen.
The investigation is continuing.
