All this week, WXXI News presents a five part series called "50 years later, Rochester Remembers the Dream," to coincide with the anniversary of the historic Civil Rights March on Washington.  In part one of our series, WXXI'S Beth Adams talks with two Rochesterians who were among the white Americans joining the march in 1963.

Beth Adams joined WXXI as host of Morning Edition in 2012 after a more than two-decade radio career. She was the longtime host of the WHAM Morning News in Rochester. Her career also took her from radio stations in Elmira, New York, to Miami, Florida.
