Officials with one of the Rochester day care centers recently cited in a report as being among the day care facilities around the state who had a number of violations, are disputing that report. The study was released by the Independent Democratic Conference of the New York State Senate.
The report says there was little or no enforcement of the violations by a state agency.
New Born Fellowship Childcare Center calls them “inaccurate accusations, “ and officials with the day care say that there were issues that were brought to their attention and then immediately addressed and corrected.
Officials with the day care say that they have been in existence for over 10 years with a focus on single mothers.
The staff and owners of New Born say that they take this matter very seriously and will pursue legal action over what they are calling “inaccurate allegations.”
