Heat Brings Health Advisory

Today's high temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-90s in parts of the state, with humidity making it feel even hotter.

The state has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory and health officials are advising you to avoid strenuous outdoor activity

There are ways to cool off:

  • City Spray parks are open today, along with the Genesee Valley Park Pool.
  • Ontario Beach Park is open for swimming, with the water temperature a cool 57 degrees, but Durand Eastman Beach remains closed until Sunday.
  • Residents can also cool off inside air-conditioned city library branches.
