The GOP convention is underway in Florida despite threats that Tropical Storm Isaac could reach hurricane strength and make landfall somewhere along a stretch from New Orleans to the Florida Panhandle.
But Chairman of the Monroe County Republican Committee Bill Reilich says fellow Republicans will not let Isaac rain on their parade.
He spoke with WXXI's LeShea Agnew from Tampa, Florida where he is a delegate at this year's national convention.
