Roberts Wesleyan to temporarily move to virtual college classes

In the wake of concerns about containing coronavirus, Roberts Wesleyan College will move its classes from in-person to ‘virtual delivery’ and distance education effective Monday, March 23. The college says that it tentatively plans to resume face-to-face classes the week of April 13.

Roberts Wesleyan College President Deana Porterfield issued a message to students and faculty.

Saying that the college’s first priority is the health and safety of the campus community:  students who live on campus, the adult and commuting population, those studying abroad, and faculty and staff.

Campus residence halls will remain open between March 18 - April 13 for students who are given permission to remain on campus.

Campus services (e.g. dining services, campus safety, health center, counseling center) will remain available for approved residential students.

All College onsite face-to-face classes will be canceled Wednesday – Friday, March 18-20 to allow for transition to alternative delivery of courses.
