Kodak Alaris Gets A New Chairman

Kodak Alaris, the Kodak spinoff created last year as the company emerged from Chapter 11, has named a new Chairman of the Board.  On Wednesday, the company announced that Mark Elliott has been named Chairman of the Board of Kodak Alaris Holdings Limited, effective May 1.

Elliott will report to the board of directors of the trustee for the Kodak Pension Plan in the U.K., which owns Kodak Alaris. He replaces interim chairman Steven Ross.

Ralf Gerbershagen, the new Kodak Alaris CEO who came to Rochester this week to meet with employees, will report to Elliott.  Elliott comes to Alaris after a long tenure with IBM in a number of management roles. He retired from IBM in 2008. Elliott is based in Florida, but spends some of his time in the U.K.

Kodak Alaris includes personalized imaging, which involves the photo kiosk business, and document imaging, which is the scanner business.
