Some Frontier customers were without internet service since yesterday, but they should be back on line soon.
That according to a company spokesperson who says about 6,000 customers were affected, scattered around the Rochester area. The outage reports first started coming in late Sunday, but it took some time to narrow down the problem.
Frontier says it involves a circuit board that failed. That part is being replaced, and customers affected should have their internet service restored by late Monday morning.
