The Women's Council of the Rochester Business Alliance has announced its annual Athena Awards.
The top award went to Amy Tait, President and CEO of Broadstone Real Estate.
This year there was also a first time young-professional award, and that went to Claudia Burcke, a former vice president with Greater Rochester Enterprise. That award recognizes emerging leaders in the 30 to 45 year old range.
Overall, the Athena Awards recognize women who have demonstrated significant achievements in business, community service and the professional advancement of women.
